All indications are winter 2015 is in the past. Spring conditions are prime. All rivers are in great shape, water clarity is perfect, a bit off color and that nice deep shade of green. Reports from around the system say fish are being taken underneath, on streamers and nymphs. Very little surface activity earlier this week in spite of plenty of black stones around to pique the curiosity of hungry trout.
A few sporadic one time risers in the flats have us looking forward to the next few days. Rising temps and longer days are sure to kick things into gear.
