Looks like the weather man had a bit of an issue getting that one right....concerning the weekend weather that is. A dominant northwest wind kept air temperatures quite chilly over the weekend in spite of the meager sunshine on Saturday and nearly lack of sunshine today. To say the least it was raw. Water levels are spectacular and the water clarity is crystal. The upper reaches have been producing some good hatch activity with multiple opportunities for dry fly encounters. Blue quills and Quill Gordons as well as caddis and stone flies have been seen throughout the system. Tomorrow should be equally as raw with a little rain and just as interesting. A brief encounter with a worthy bank feeder was our highlight of the day. Tuesday is looking real good!
